Today, I’m wondering what you’ve done to show your hands a bit of appreciation? After all, I’m thinking they’ve already done a TON of small and large tasks for you today alone.

We make global changes with the hands and feet so notice if you feel less tension and tightness not only in your fingers and wrists, but also your neck, head, and ribs!!

I love this mudra!! It can create a calming effect within the nervous system, its been used to help those suffering with insomnia and is great for relaxing the pelvic area of the body. I practice it for 5-15 minutes in a seated meditation or any restorative pose calling to me in the moment. As with anything don’t practice for too long or too often as it can cause imbalances in the opposite direction, with this one it can result in lethargic tendencies. I’m closing with a little inspiration from a Super Soul Sunday episode, one of my FAVORITE shows on TV! Love and Light! Namaste
