A little MELTed Self Care For the Soul!

MELT is incredibly amazing at moving things through my body, when I feel off center or shaken from life it always brings me back to my body and back to a balanced state emotionally and physically!

Day 18 of #nourishwithyoga is a challenging pose,#Kurmasana#Tortoise Pose. I’m doing the modification because its the first time with this pose and I want to honor the process of building up to it!
I’m putting one foot in front of the other trying to figure life and relationships in every form out as I go along. It’s super scary and super confusing, but I’m incredibly grateful for inspirational teachers and thought leaders, because everyday as I read, there are always words that express what I am feeling, what I would like to cultivate more of in life, what I’m working on in the moment, and expressions of what I will continue to work on until my last breath. I’m eternally grateful for my earth school and the many daily lessons and opportunities it provides. I love Brene’s words on what it takes to cultivate wholeheartedness! Namaste

“Wholehearted living is about engaging in our lives from a place of worthiness. It means cultivating the courage, compassion, and connection to wake up in the morning and think, “No matter what gets done and how much is left undone, I am enough.” It’s going to bed at night thinking, “Yes, I am imperfect and vulnerable and sometimes afraid, but that doesn’t change the truth that I am also brave and worthy of love and belonging.”— Brene Brown

Day 7 of #blossomintoasanas is#SalambaSarvangasana#SupportedShoulderStandfor Visuddha/Throat – Fifth Chakra.

Clear expression has always been and will always be something I’m continually working on. I know and embrace that everyday of my life will consist of learning new ways to communicate, to listen, and to learn. The central issue of Visuddha is communication, the identity is Creative Identity (Self – Expression). When open our guilt and remorse fades, and we develop a kind and compassionate voice. When closed we harness our emotions, restrain our will, and choke back expressions of who we are.
