MELTed Self Care For the Soul!

A bit of length work to prepare my front body for my yoga practice today. The Bent Knee Press is a great way to bring some hydration and balance back to the Psoas fibers and the body’s front line.

Without my blocks and bolsters I made do with a pillow wrapped around the melt roller … It made a nice prop to encourage surrender of my back body and the opening of my front body. I love this variation with the toes tucked under for further release in front hips- thanks @paisleyanneyoga

#ReclinedBoundAngle for Muladhara/Root – First Chakra.
Muladhara is our most physical and instinctual chakra. It governs over our physical energy in the earth plane and our feelings of safety and security with ourselves and others.

I’m using my melt roller as a bolster for my thighs to release – it encourages the feelings of safety for the body which is a major component of Muladhara energy.
