MELTed Self Care using Aromatherapy and Homeopathy! 
day3inspiredselfcaresideYesterday I started using my Aromatherapy treatments for healing my ankle. I got a lot of great information from friends, did a ton of research on my own, and this is what I’m doing for my ankle. When I woke up this morning, I must say, I had a significant change in the bruising. I posted this one to the left, because you can go back even a day and see the significant difference adding the essential oils and the homeopathy had on the color!!
It is said to be so powerful, that even if you can’t get to the injured area due to a cast for instance, put it on the opposite limb and it will have about a 65% effect “This is called Sympathetic Response. The body understands where the essential oil is needed and will send the recovering bone what’s needed. – Dr. Sue Lawton​”​ Truly amazing, but powerful because 1 drop of an essential oil could be equivalent to drinking 75 cups of that in a tea!

Therefore, I highly recommend you consult people who know their stuff Aromatherapy and Homeopathy “stuff”,  do your own research, and then choose what works best for you!

Before bed I did a Hot Aromatherapy Treatment on my leg and ankle, then put a few drops of Lavender Oil on the bottom of my feet to help me sleep, and its good for pain as well.
Remember, rest is so important for healing!!!
These are the essential oils I have chosen to use for my treatments. They are all beneficial for healing bone, tendons, ligaments, have an anti-inflammatory effect, aid in circulation, breaking up bruises, etc.
 ​I started by putting a hand towel in a sink of hot water, then I used the coconut oil as a carrier oil and applied it liberally all over my lower leg, ankle, and foot. I simply add a few drops of each in my palms, rub together and apply to the oiled area. Ring the hot towel out, and wrap it around the area to help drive in the oils and leave on for 20 minutes of blissful relaxation.
Birch – A super cool thing I learned about any of the tree oils is they are considered BONE OILS. Its programmed in their DNA to grown strong, straight, and solid, and this same energy is applied to our body when we use them! Nature Rocks!​
Frankincense – The most precious of the ancient oils, also a tree oil which are considered bone oils, natural analgesic, eases muscular pain, and aids in circulation.
Cypress – Considered to be ​the oil for moving fluids in the body​, and is g​reat for traumatic tissue injury.​
​Helichrysum – This oil has SO many benefits, I’ll let you look them up, and it is said to be the most powerful healing and regenerative oil in Aromatherapy. It is also a very supportive and emotionally comforting oil
Lemongrass – Is great for circulation, regenerating connective tissues, healing tendons, and ligaments.
Marjoram –  Is for healing muscles, spasms, nerve pain, and tension. wonderful for muscles and bones
Wintergreen – A natural anti inflammatory and known for its ability to alleviate bone pain. This one I’ve actually put on “neat” without a carrier oil for bone pain. It is a “hot oil” and it really does work for pain! I add a few drops to my palms, rubbed them together, and massaged into my ankle.
Peppermint – Has an “icing” effect when the hot towel is removed and it also help to supercharge all the other oils so I put it on last. ​

Arnica Montana 30c – Used for bruises, muscular pain/soreness from injury or surgery. Works to minimize pain and bleeding, joint and back pain/stiffness, and the after effects of shock.
Ruta Grav 30c – For joints and ligaments, bone bruises and strain.
Symphytum (Comfrey Leaf) 30c – ​First aid to relieve pain and promote healing of broken, fractured, or bruised bones, or any injury affecting periosteum or tendons.
