In the Moment with The Dancing Soul!
Happy New Year . . .
Here’s hoping this finds you quieting down from a lovely holiday season. I want to thank you all for your continued support, love, and healing energy in regards to the passing of my Mother last month. I am most certainly in unchartered waters in losing my Mother, but your love has continued to burst my heart open!
As many of you know she had been suffering from a chronic pain disorder called, Complex Regional Pain Syndrome for close to two decades. This past year she had been on Kidney Dialysis, and she continued to fight a long hard battle with traditional medicine until the very end. She was so strong and one of the bravest women I have ever known. I feel her soft sweet presence all around me, it’s bittersweet for sure, but I’m grateful for my time with her. My work in helping others learn the art of self-care is just beginning! I’m blessed to have some amazing clients, one with the same chronic pain syndrome as mom, and MELT is turning out to be an important part of her self-care routine! I can only be grateful for finding MELT! I can now see the bigger picture in how and why my path lead me to this amazing method of bodywork!
MELT Method in the New York Times . . .
Extra! Extra! Read all about it! The New York Times recently featured The MELT Method. Reporting from Sue Hitzmann’s class at The JCC Manhattan. The world of self-care is growing, and people all over are joining this movement to live our most active, youthful, and pain-free lives! Read the article from the New York Times here, and help spread the word of self-care and pain-free living by sharing this with someone in your life! It doesn’t take much to change the way our body is navigating our daily life . . . as always, does your movement resemble that of a dried out sponge, or a nice flexible one? Let’s get some hydration moving through our body so we can move with greater ease!
January’s Schedule is up on The Dancing Soul . . .
Registration is now open for my MELT classes and workshops each Sunday in January. My MELT Neurostrength classes Sunday’s at Downtown Dance in Lake Worth are perfect for all levels! We do the MELT hydration techniques to improve communication and then we tap into the reflexive mechanisms that stabilize the shoulders, core, and pelvis! You’ll be amazed when your shoulder feels better from doing a lower body series and vice versa! My next Intro to MELT will be in Port St. Lucie the last Sunday of January! We will learn the 4 R’s of MELT while we ease our way into this powerful realm of hands-off bodywork! Click here for registration and more detailed information about my classes.
If you haven’t treated yourself to one of my MELT Therapeutic Treatment classes or workshops yet, let 2015 be your time to care for you! Learn how easy it is to make lasting changes in your body! MELT doesn’t cure anything however, it will give you the tools to treat your tissues daily to help erase the repetitive movements of your day! But, don’t be fooled, if you were to stop MELTing, you would start to feel kind of ‘crappy’ again. It’s like brushing your teeth and eating, our bodies ask for this attention daily, and we must continue with this part of our daily self-care routine for today’s requirements and tomorrows! 2015 is the year you will learn the tools to help you live a healthier, more youthful, and pain-free life! Cheers to a New Year and a New You in 2015!!!
Love and Light,
I love you like the universe! I miss you to the moon and back, Mom – Tanya
On the day I die, don’t say he’s gone. Death has nothing to do with going away.
The sun sets, and the moon sets but they’re not gone.
Death is a coming together.
The human seed goes down into the ground like a bucket,
and comes up with some unimagined beauty.
Your mouth closes here, and immediately opens
with a shout of joy there. – Rumi
