A photograph of a painted Wheel of the Year from the Museum of Witchcraft, Boscastle. Painted by Cornish artist Vivienne Shanley, on wooden disc made by Mark Highland.
We’re still in the medicine of our long nights, but with the hope and promise of the slow returning light and life Imbolc brings. The days are slowly and steadily growing longer, the new life beneath the soil and within is stirring.
Imbolc (Imbolg) is one of the four Gaelic Fire Festivals on the Wheel of the Year. This high holy day is marking the midway point between Winter Solstice and Spring Equinox here in the Northern Hemisphere.
Join me for an evening of sensory exploration through sound, rest, and stillness. Make a cozy nest with pillows, blankets, and your earphones and drift into a cozy winter slumber. You’ll be serenaded in a restful meditative space by the sounds of my singing bowls, gong, chimes, and more.
