Sounds of Ostara ~ A Spring Equinox Sound Meditation
Sounds of Ostara ~ A Spring Equinox Sound Meditation
Recorded Live on Tuesday, March 22, 2022
A photograph of a painted Wheel of the Year from the Museum of Witchcraft, Boscastle. Painted by Cornish artist Vivienne Shanley, on wooden disc made by Mark Highland.
We are in the wisdom of our first initiatory early Spring Moon. We stand at the threshold of the Spring Equinox to witness the equality of dark and light and the new beginnings as we bid farewell to Winter and all the ways it changed and stretched us… until we meet again next year, Winter Moons.
The Sun takes the lead in this dance as the days become longer than the nights after equinox here in the Norther Hemisphere and we enjoy the vibrancy and returning light.
As we welcome Spring here in the Northern Hemisphere, our friends carry the wisdom of Autumn in the Southern Hemisphere
Join me for an evening of sensory exploration through sound, rest, and stillness. Make a cozy nest with pillows, blankets, and your earphones and drift into a cozy early spring slumber. You’ll be serenaded in a restful meditative space by the sounds of my singing bowls, gong, chimes, and more.
