So, here’s a bit of inspiration touching on what I’m learning about what it really means to be in the present moment!

In staying on the theme of presence and our breath, here is the MELT Rebalance Sequence.
Our breath is the “doorway” into our nervous system. We take it for granted that it happens around 28,000 times per day!
Therefore, by drawing your attention to your breath, you can become more present. But, don’t make it an event, because it is a reflex after all. Don’t spend too much time fussing around with it or trying to change it, just notice it, watch it, see where it goes . . .
This is why I love the rebalance sequence because we are tapping into this reflex long enough to mobilize the diaphragm in all six directions and connect to bring everything back online so to speak, and then, we walk away with a more efficient nervous system, a heightened sense of our body, and a better ability to take a full breath to draw us back when we become frustrated or too focused on yesterday or tomorrow.
