First things first. . . How can you MELT with ME, you ask?
I have a few Sunday classes open for registration at Downtown Dance in Lake Worth and you’ll find all the information here at The Dancing Soul Shop
It’s worth noting, I’ve hosted the past few classes at my home studio in Palm Beach Gardens instead of the studio in Lake Worth. So, if this makes a difference for you please reach out and it could be an option to permanently host them in PBG!
Also, I finished going over your suggestions, and I tweaked my online group classes.
You can choose from two evening restorative options on
Mondays 6:15-7:15PM and Wednesdays 7-8PM
As well as a half hour mini MELT class Tuesdays 6:30-7PM . . .
Thank you all for your feedback and I’m hoping this entices you to try or get back to MELT for all your movement pleasures, from the convenience of your home! 😉
You’ll find the information here on Tanya’s Virtual Studio Page. Check it out, let me know if you have any questions, and if you can’t purchase MELT equipment at this time, no worries, grab a soft ball or use your own hands, roll up a yoga mat and join me anyway. I’ll meet you where you are to get you started! See you in class soon!
Last But Certainly NOT Least . . .
Words are certainly NOT sufficient to express this experience, but I will try. What I do know for sure is my life will never be the same on SO many levels!
I’m incredibly blessed to have just returned home from an AMAZING Integral Anatomy Dissection Intensive with Gil Hedley, Sue Hitzmann (my mentor and MELT creator), and the rest of my lovely MELT family pictured here! I couldn’t imagine doing this work with anyone else in the world! They are part of a growing soul community and for that I’m grateful!
The sacred space Gil created for us to explore “inner space” and to basically unlearn everything we thought we knew or have seen in books about the human body has been a spiritual experience to say the least!
The threads put into place for this group to be here with these exact forms (our teachers for the week) is divine work at its best. Something in our 6 teachers lives made them want to donate their bodies to science, and their lovely families made sure this wish came true! I’m incredibly humbled and honored to have had the opportunity to be part of this unfolding!
Integral Anatomy is about understanding how we are connected rather than dissecting to look at the DIFFERENT parts of the body, i.e., muscles, nerves, bones, etc . . . we worked for 6 intense days starting from the skin and exploring the connections all the way to the organs and bones, and even exploring the connections inside of them.
To see and touch the brilliance of the connective tissue system, what we work with in MELT, from the superficial layer of connective tissue all the way to the deep and visceral layers was quite special to say the least! I have an entirely different perspective now when doing and teaching MELT!
San Francisco was a beautiful destination for a mind blowing week, and I must say, I LOVE being part of a self care movement! Seriously, it’s so healing, centering, and oh so good! 🙂
Allow me to share, THERE IS NO SEPARATION OF OUR PARTS, UNTIL THEY ARE SEPARATED BY A SCALPEL, AND EVEN THEN, THINGS DO NOT WANT TO BE SEPARATED! WE ARE SO WELL PUT TOGETHER . . .
Some food for thought . . . in your life, in your spiritual, emotional, mental, exercise and self care routines, begin to look at yourself and treat yourself as an integrated universe, as Bruce Lipton says, ” a community of organisms working harmoniously together . . . ”
EVERYTHING works together to create a unified whole being! Our life experiences are imprinted on our forms in the most profound and intimate ways, yet our bodies can’t even come close to expressing the nature and depth of who and what we are!
I’ve ever so tenderly held the heart in my hand and touched mine and all of humanities at the same time, I’ve held the brain and seen surgeries I can’t imagine people lived with, I’ve literally touched cancer on Lady M’s form (my teacher for the week), and saw the physical manifestation of our chakra system … It’s so beautifully profound and I wish words were sufficient to express it!
The respect I have for how our bodies protect us, love us, and nurture us has grown exponentially! My mind is officially blown and my heart and soul have been touched in ways I haven’t begun to comprehend yet and may never! Thank you again, Sue Hitzmann for bringing our MELT family together for this amazing week and expanding our lives yet again!
Love and Light to you ALL!
Namaste,
Tanya
